I LOVED your piece on dyscalcula yesterday. My son, who is a fan and very creative, also has big math issues. It is the biggest stress in his life. He’s looking for a part time job but can’t make change or even tell time without a digital clock!

Even with all of the help in schools today, he still gets a lot of negative messages. Your talk gave me hope – I know there is a place for him working as a writer or artist. You are an inspiration. If I could get a copy of your piece on math I’d pass it on to his math department at high school. Thanks so much for your words! MOM – of a math challenged, great kid!
